I could not believe my parents were taking me to the Museum to see the moving dinosaurs!!! Its pretty cool when you're 6 and you get to see dinosaurs with skin and eyes moving around in the museum.
My big brother, my older cousin and myself at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia in 1988. What a goofy grin I had on my face. I was always so happy to go to the Museum to see the dinosaurs. We used to go with our Great-Grandfather too. :)
I still go to the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University as it is now known. My daughter and I love to just go and spend the day there. We recently went to Paleopalooza there in February. It was great!
We saw all the exhibits and got our faces painted.
I will never stop going to the museums, no matter where I am in the world. But i will always think of the Academy as my museum.
